Military Attractions in Aldershot & North Hampshire
Aldershot is where the Victorians established a permanent camp for military manoeuvres during the Crimean War and since then it has been traditionally known as the "Home of the British Army". A number of regiments and corps, and their museums are based in the area. However, North Hampshire has had a military legacy stretching back to the Iron Age and the English Civil War.

The Royal Logistic Corps Museum
Displays telling the story of British Army logistics from 15th century to the present day. Exhibits include weapons, uniforms, medals and equipment relevant to the RLC and its predecessors, RAOC, RASC, RCT, RPC, ACC. Good archive for research.

Army Medical Services Museum
The museum tells the story of the contribution made by the army in the history of medicine, veterinary medicine, nursing and dentistry from 1660 to the present day. It includes medical equipment, uniforms and ambulances. There are quizzes and trails for children.
