Hunt for hidden treasure in our display cases and enter the free prize draw to win the contents of the treasure chest!
The Treasure Hunt is on all summer from Sunday 18 July until Sunday 5 September during Museum opening hours:
Monday to Thursday - 9.00am to 4.30pm
Friday - 9.00am to 4.00pm
Sunday - 11.00am to 4.00pm

Animals in War at Royal Armouries Fort Nelson

Discover the role of birds and animals in defending King and Country. From anti-spy falcons, who intercepted German carrier pigeons as they crossed the South Coast, to crime-busting police dogs. Complete with humorous stories and "fowl" tales, see birds and beasts in action and hear stories of animals in war.

Summer Fun Day at REME Museum

Have a go on the Mini Assault Course Run by REME Soldiers. The day will also include recovery vehicle demonstrations, a chance to see how REME change tank engines, face painting and much more.

Legends of Robin Hood at Fort Nelson

Sea Service at the Royal Marines Museum

For all of their history the Royal Marines have served at sea. They've been sharp shooters, gunners and policemen on board the Navy’s ships. Try your hand at the tasks they performed to see if you are up for sea service.

Exbury Tea Festival at Exbury Gardens

Exbury's Tea Festival promises a celebration of the nation's favourite drink! Children are invited to bring a favourite bear to the Gardens for our 2.30pm Blooming Great Tea Party in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care, while hungry mums and dads can indulge in a traditional cream tea from 3pm.
Follow our Tea Trail and discover many different plants that can be used to prepare a cup of tea - not many people realise, but much of the world's tea productions comes from Camellia sinensis, many examples of which can be found at Exbury.
With stallholders, talks, tastings and demonstrations - there's everything you can think of connected with tea!

Navy Days at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Put the date in your diary for what promises to be one of the most popular events on the south coast this summer!
Navy Days at Portsmouth Naval Base will feature serving warships from the Royal Navy, as well as foreign navies, alongside the famous historic ships and attractions of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
A brilliant day out for all the family is guaranteed with a chance to go aboard and see behind the scenes of modern warships, marvel at the spectacle of naval demonstrations and displays in the harbour, in the air and on the dockside, and experience 800 years of fascinating history with re-enactments on iconic vessels HMS Victory and HMS Warrior 1860.
